		<description>@xrelix: Agreed... This should have been handled fully during the Gulf War. I think McCain's been politically hurt by two things: his age, and his having kowtowed, in such an obvious way to his party.

This has been, and will continue to be an interesting election.</description>

		<description>Powell's (and Mcain's) fatal flaw was/is loyalty to their Party over Country/World.

I supported the war - but not just because of the WMD threats - but because the 1st Bush (&#38; the U.N) didn't finish the Job the first time.  The error in judgment of us supporters was really not recognizing the incompetence of Bush &#38; his cronies. I agree with Mcain on this - the management was bad, not the war itself - but it will take a true intellect like Obama to bring it to a close while juggling the economy, health etc. (I hope).</description>
